Join the Center for Coastal Studies (CCS) for this family-friendly educational and fun activity. Kids will learn about the tools used by our Marine Animal Entanglement Response (MAER) team to free a whale or sea turtle trapped in fishing lines and gear; see videos, photos, and tools from actual disentanglement operations; and try their hand at “rescuing” a “whale.” Space is limited.
$5 per child, reservations recommended.
