England's own, Mama G is a Petite Pantos' cover girl, sharing our ethos of loving who you want and being who you are through her stories. She came to life during a Petite Pantos' production of Mother Goose at the Brighton Fringe and has been making waves ever since.
Her first storytelling session was at the Cowley cafe in Brighton which was quickly followed by appearances at the South Bank Centre and the Unicorn Theatre in London. Since then she has appeared at libraries, theatres, bookshops and cafes all over the UK; as well as in Canada and via video link to various places in the USA.
She has worked with Disney, Pride in London, HSBC, Waterstones, ZSL London Zoo and the Museum of Liverpool, amongst others. Prior to the pandemic she had been booked to perform her one panto dame show at London's Boulevard Theatre and was looking forward to appearing at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. During the pandemic she provided free story times on Facebook, did a lot of Zoom storytelling, had one of her stories turned into a musical and even hosted her very own digital pride.
